To prepare the Wheat Salad, the wheat should be soaked in water for 2 hours.
Then, it is mixed with tomato, onion, parsley, lime juice, and oil, adding salt to taste.
The salad is refrigerated before serving.
Wheat Salad
Ingredients
1 cup of Bulgur wheat
1 Diced tomato
1 Diced red onion
½ cup of Finely chopped parsley
3 cups of Hot water
2 tablespoons of Lime juice
½ cup of Olive oil
½ teaspoon of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : Place the wheat in a bowl and add enough water, letting it rest for 2 hours to hydrate.
Step 2 : Then, drain the wheat and remove the excess water.
Step 3 : Mix the wheat with the tomato, onion, parsley, lime juice, and oil.
Step 4 : Add salt to taste and mix all ingredients well.
Step 5 : Keep the preparation refrigerated before serving.
